Though everyone is well acquainted with the image of Sudama, the supreme friend of Shri Krishna, but hardly anyone knows that Sudama himself chose the life of a penniless to avoid a curse to the ultimate incarnation, Shri Krishna. This is the reason that Sudama, despite being a great friend and devotee of God, was so impoverished.
-According to the legend, there was a very poor Brahmin. He used to live completely by asking for alms but unfortunately, there came a time when he could not get alms for five days.
- Every day she used to remember God and sleep but on the sixth day she received only two handfuls of gram. She was very happy to get gram but it was nightfall when she reached the hut.
-That Brahmini thought that I will not eat these grams during the night, I will accept them only after having eaten Kanhaiya in the morning. Thinking like this, the Brahmin chanas were tied in a cloth.
- She slept in deep sleep remembering Kanhaiya’s name. But they say! Neither the grain is written on the grain.
- As the Brahmin slept some thieves came to his hut to steal. But that poor Brahmin had nothing but the gram packet.
- The thieves got that bundle of gram, the thieves understood that there are some treasured diamond gems in it, so the Brahmini woke up and started making noise.
- Hearing the noise of the Brahmin, all the people of the village ran to catch the thieves, the thieves ran away with the bundle. Fearing being caught, all the thieves hid in Sandipan Muni’s ashram. Where Lord Krishna and Sudama were educated.
- Gurumata felt that someone had come inside the ashram, Gurumata went ahead to see, the thief thought someone was coming, the thieves got scared and started running from the ashram.
- That bundle fell there with the thieves while running. And all the thieves escaped. On the other hand, that brahmini was troubled by hunger when the brahmini learned that the thieves had taken away the bundle of his gram.
-He cursed with a very sad heart that whatever gram of the poor helpless will eat will be impoverished. There, in the morning, he started sweeping in the Guru Mata Ashram.
- While cleaning, Guru Mata got the same gram packet. When Guru Mata saw the bundle shell, gram came out in it.
- Sudama ji and Krishna were going to bring wood from the forest like daily, then Gurumata gave them the same gram packet and said that when hungry, take both.
- As soon as Sudama ji took the bundle of gram, he realized the whole secret. Sudama thought that if Shri Krishna accepted this gram, the whole creation would become poor and poor. With this idea, he ate all these chickens himself.
- Sudama ji took the curse of poverty. But he did not give even a single grain of gram to his friend Shri Krishna. Sudama himself spent his entire life in poverty to escape the chastity and friends, you will know that when Sudam went to Dwarka, Lord Krishna had secretly converted his hut into a palace like his own, but Sudama He never went to that palace, he spent his remaining life in Kanhe’s temple at his feet, so friends, this world is actually Sudama’s always Lead who will be submitted to the needy throughout own life to escape from poverty to Sristi.
